Support Us

Yorda relies on the generosity of others to be able to continue running our play, care and family projects and to keep the Playhouse.

The work we do is really needed and so we are always very grateful for any support; it makes such a big difference.

There are so many different ways to help us- you might know a company wishing to take on a local group to partner with for sponsorship? You might want to test yourself through a race or endurance challenge and ask your friends to help support? You might be able to donate money regularly, or as a one off. You might be able to volunteer your time or champion us to others – however you can help us to help our families, we would love to hear from you!

Starfish Patron

Corporate / Organisation Giving

Support Yorda long-term by committing a gift over three years. This funding enables us to plan for growth and development whilst keeping behind the scenes essentials running. We offer a partnership with our Starfish Patrons with regular information meetings, team days for your staff team, CEO talks and notification to our supporters of your help.

Fundraising is a great way of not only raising money, but raising awareness about us and what we do. You don’t have to skydive to be a Yorda Hero (although some amazing people have!); a sponsored walk, bake sale, mufti day or fun challenge are also fantastic ways to help.

Donate Once

One-off donations mean we can put a little extra towards one of our projects, buy new toys or buy specialist equipment for the children we care for.

Donate Monthly

Monthly donations mean we can plan for the future and set out our goals. This could be to pilot a new project, upgrade our play spaces or add more places to our specialist projects.

Volunteer Time

Help us maintain the Playhouse for all our families who use it. This can be anything like gardening, DIY or decorating and can be as little as a one-off hour or on a more regular basis.
